On Going
On GoingAbstract
In 1977, three researchers travel to the Irish village of Clonakility to investigate reports of a banshee—an anomalous entity said to shift instantly between three distinct forms. During their fieldwork, they encounter a string of unnerving, unexplainable events: strange sonic disturbances and baffling visual phenomena that defy scientific explanation. Though the researchers have since died and the documents cannot be fully verified, the records point to a chilling idea: the banshee may be less a single creature and more a manifestation of the village's collective memory—an apparition shaped by, and embodying, the community's fear and grief.
